The Earl Duo chess set combines lacquered, colour-finished boxwood chess pieces handcrafted in India with the Cordoba chess board. The set is offered in five pre-selected colour pairings: blue vs orange, brown vs grey, brown vs orange, green vs yellow, and pink vs turquoise.

The king stands 3.75 inches tall. The king base diameter is 4.1 cm (1.61 in), and the pawn base diameter is 2.9 cm (1.14 in), which suits 5.0 cm (1.97 in) squares well and keeps the pieces clearly separated in busy positions. One additional queen per side is included.

Made in Spain, the Cordoba chess board measures 50 cm (19.7 in) on each side and is finished in a high-gloss lacquer. If you prefer to choose your own colour combination, the Earl chess pieces are also available separately and can be paired with other chess boards.
