The Girona chess set pairs the Dalí chess pieces with the Segovia chess board. Handcrafted in India, the pieces are made from boxwood and red padauk, both with a lacquered finish. Their layered bases and ring-like details give them a contemporary profile. The dark pieces show padauk’s visible grain and red-brown tone, while the light boxwood pieces have an even, pale surface. The king stands 4.4 inches tall, and the pieces are weighted for steady handling during play.

The king base diameter is 4.5 cm (1.77 in), and the pawn base diameter is 3.3 cm (1.30 in). The board’s 6.0 cm (2.36 in) squares leave clear space between the pieces. Additional queens are included, and the pieces come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Made in Spain, the Segovia chess board measures 60 cm (23.6 in) on each side. It combines brown ash burl with light maple and has a high-gloss lacquered finish. The burl figure varies naturally from board to board. The board weighs 3.5 kg (7.7 lb).
