The Girona chess set combines the Dalí lacquered chess pieces with the Segovia chess board. The pieces have a contemporary profile with distinctive ring-like detailing and are handcrafted in India from boxwood (light pieces) and red padauk (dark pieces). The set includes additional queens and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The king stands 4.4 inches tall, and the pieces are weighted for steady handling during play.

The king base diameter is 4.5 cm (1.77 in), and the pawn base diameter is 3.3 cm (1.30 in). These measurements align well with 6.0 cm (2.36 in) squares, leaving comfortable spacing between neighbouring pieces and keeping positions easy to read.

The board measures 60 cm (23.6 in) on each side. Brown ash burl patterning is paired with lighter maple tones, creating natural variation across the surface. At 3.5 kg (7.7 lb), it has a stable presence on the table while remaining practical to move and store.
