An outstanding large luxury chess board made from the root of elmwood. Handcrafted in Florence, Italy.

The veneered squares have been inlaid by hand. The patterns and the swirly grain are rich in tone and the beautiful knotting adds depth to the contrasts on the board.

The impressive pattern of the wood is unique to each board.

This board is a perfect match for all our chess piece sets that feature a 4.25 – 4.75 inch tall king. We especially recommend combining it with the lacquered chess pieces from our catalogue.
